A Better Way to Plan a Wedding
The inspiration behind Eventfully Designed stemmed from personal experience. While planning her own wedding, owner and founder Katelynn Richins quickly discovered just how exhausting and frustrating navigating the wedding industry could be. Vendors were slow to respond—if they responded at all —and it often took weeks to receive proposals from wedding planners. The lack of transparency, communication, and clarity turned what should have been an exciting season into an overwhelming one.
She knew there had to be a better way.
That experience became the foundation of Eventfully Designed. Katelynn set out to create a wedding planning company in Dallas that does the exact opposite of what she encountered as a bride, one rooted in prompt communication, honesty, efficiency, and thoughtful guidance from the very first inquiry.
Meet Katelynn Richins
Katelynn, owner and founder of Eventfully Designed and lead wedding planner, is known for her quick communication, transparency, and meticulous attention to detail with every wedding and event she plans. With an extensive background in both design and event production, she approaches wedding planning with a balance of creativity and structure, ensuring nothing is overlooked and every detail serves a purpose.
She firmly believes that exceptional weddings are built by strong planning teams who act as true advocates for their clients’ vision. Katelynn’s vision for Eventfully Designed is to be the kind of wedding planner she once wished she had, continuing to serve couples with unmatched care, thoughtful organization, and an elevated level of attention to detail.
Meet Bishop Wash
Bishop is Katelynn’s husband and co-founder of Eventfully Designed. Throughout his professional career, he has planned and executed major media-worthy events on Capitol Hill, at NFL stadiums, corporate headquarters, and large event spaces across the country.
At Eventfully Designed, he oversees logistics and regularly acts as Katelynn’s “second brain” for day-of operations. With over 100 weddings under his belt, Bishop knows how to make your wedding day come to life exactly how — or even better than — you expected.
Meet Elise Werchan
Elise is a Lead Wedding Planner with Eventfully Designed. She is recognized for her meticulous attention to detail, thoughtful client care, and ability to bring ambitious visions to life. With a passion for organization and creative design, Elise seamlessly blends big-picture planning with precise execution to craft elevated, memorable events.
After planning her own wedding in May 2024, Elise pursued her career in the wedding industry, where she now thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Her BFA in Contemporary Dance and minor in Nutrition contribute to her calm under pressure, adaptability, and strategic problem-solving—skills that allow her to pivot quickly and manage event days with confidence and precision.

Meet Kylie Schlueter
Kylie is an associate wedding planner with a passion for bringing thoughtful details and seamless execution to every celebration. Currently pursuing a college degree with a minor in marketing, she blends creative strategy with strong organizational skills to ensure wedding days run smoothly from start to finish.
Known for her calm presence and behind-the-scenes efficiency, Kylie supports couples and lead planners by managing timelines, coordinating vendors, and handling the unexpected with ease. Her goal is simple: to allow couples to be fully present and enjoy every moment of their wedding day, knowing every detail is in capable hands.
